How to install desktop capturing software on CentOS

I use recordmydesktop for capturing desktop video

# yum install recordmydesktop (this is the backend software)

use one of the following for frontend

# yum install gtk-recordmydesktop

or

# yum install qt-recordmydesktop

then recordmydesktop will appear under "Applications" -> "Sound & video"
